Silly and functional sculptural pottery describes my ceramic work. When I am making creature pots out of clay the pieces are embellished with my sense of humor and love for short narratives. All my pieces have a personality that forms and morphs as I manipulate the material to bring them to life. Creature spoon rests were my first monster pottery pieces. Most of their lineage is traceable on their family tree of course! Each monster pot has their name stamped into the side of them. In a way they are like my children, even if they have five eyes looking in multiple directions.
